Product Description

Introduction

Robot Sensor Housing CNC Machining is used to manufacture precision enclosures and mounting structures for cameras, LiDAR, proximity sensors, force sensors, encoders, IMUs, and other sensing systems integrated into robotic equipment. Accurate machining helps maintain sensor position, alignment, protection, and repeatable measurement performance.

Robot sensor housings often contain precision mounting datums, sensor seats, optical apertures, locating holes, cable passages, connector interfaces, sealing surfaces, thin-wall structures, and heat-dissipation features. Small deviations in hole position, flatness, perpendicularity, or interface dimensions can affect sensor alignment, field of view, sealing performance, assembly consistency, and measurement repeatability.

Our CNC machining capabilities include 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling, CNC turning, drilling, boring, threading, tapping, and precision finishing. Machining strategies, workholding, datum control, and inspection methods are selected according to housing geometry, sensor alignment requirements, GD&T, sealing interfaces, and assembly conditions.

Sensor housings can be machined from aluminum alloys, stainless steel, titanium, copper alloys, engineering plastics, and other materials, with anodizing, hard anodizing, passivation, polishing, plating, coating, and other secondary processes available. Prototype, engineering sample, and low-volume production can be supported according to customer drawings.
